Just like the Flip 6, the Flip 7 delivers JBL Pro Sound but with some powerful upgrades under the hood. We redesigned the tweeter dome so every track hits harder and sounds cleaner. And then we added AI Sound Boost, our exclusive tech that analyzes your music and adjusts the acoustics in real time to reduce distortion—even at max volumes. Think of it as your own little audio genie.
The battery life of the party
You can always count on the Flip 6 to stay out late. The Flip 7 can hang even longer—up to 14 hours on a single charge. Thanks to Playtime Boost, you can also squeeze out an extra two hours of juice if you need to listen to “one more song” a few more times.
Auracast™ helps the crowd get loud
The Flip 6’s PartyBoost feature lets you pair compatible speakers together for synced-up stereo sound. The Flip 7 wants everyone in on the fun too—just on another level. We built in Auracast™, the next-gen Bluetooth tech, for easier syncing across even more JBL devices. Basically, it broadcasts sound from your speaker to as many other speakers (or headphones) as you like.
Can take some tough love—and some water and dust
Remember how the Flip 6 is waterproof and dustproof? The Flip 7 has the same go-everywhere durability. Plus, it’s drop-proof. It can survive cannonball miscalculations, campsite mishaps, and even falls of up to 1 meter onto your concrete floor (if only we could all be so tough).

If you have the Flip 6, you’re probably already well-versed in how to dial in your sound using the JBL Portable app. The Flip 7 brings that same level of customization—and adds lossless audio playback for all our audiophile friends. Just plug the Flip 7 into a compatible high-res audio source via the USB-C port to hear every detail of the original recording, without any sound-quality loss. It’ll be like hearing your favorite EP for the very first time.
Ready to lock in when you are
We gave the classic Flip design a practical addition in the form of our handy PushLock system. At the push of a button, you can swap in accessories that let you carry your sound however you want: clip it to your backpack with the carabiner or secure it to your bike with the loop—both accessories come included. Whatever you need to feel more free.
