Celebrate Halloween with these customized speakers and headphones
STORIES
We've brewed up some scary good custom speaker designs to celebrate the Halloween season.
Did you hear that?
Was it a creak in the floorboards? The wind whistling through your shudders? A ghastly creature coming to take you away?
Don’t be alarmed … yet. It’s just the sound of us clicking away to customize a spooky speaker for Halloween. But don’t let us have all the fun—with some imagination, a dash of black magic, and our handy online personalization tool, JBLxME, you can customize a JBL speaker of your very own.
And if you’re looking for inspo, we’ll show you some spine-tingling designs to help get those scary ideas flowing. Whether your Halloween taste tends cutesy, creepy, or gory, we’ve got the background prints, color schemes, stickers, and text tools to bring your vision to life. (In a creative way, not a zombie way.)
Iconically occult
We’re calling our first creation the Hocus Pocus—a simple homage to the classics of Halloween: witches, warlocks, and magic spells. To create this mystical design, we selected an eerie black casing, added some orange-and-green gradients over the ear cups, and placed our bloodshot eyeball and crescent moon stickers on top—creating a combo that adds a spooky aura to any outfit this supernatural season.
Placed onto the JBL Live 770 NC headphones, they’re perfect for your solo pre-costume-party pregame or to add some ghostly background jams to your hot ghoul walk.
A true Halloween slayer
Got youngsters at home? Or maybe feel like your aesthetic fits a more cutesy vibe? Let us introduce you to our girl Skulliana—she’s as weird as she is precious. On the JBL PartyBox Encore Essential, we picked a star-patterned base design and adjusted the colors to create a Halloween galaxy of yellow and orange. Then, we stuck on an adorable skull with luscious lashes and sized it up extra large—bringing to life an icon that’ll slay away the holiday.
Plug in Skulliana to kick off your house party or add fun special effects to your homemade haunted house. Whatever your vibe, this speaker can keep you on theme.
Creepy yet cutesy
If unsettlingly adorable is more your thing, you might prefer the Blinker, our alien-esque take on a speaker creature. We took a Y2K-style heart-and-sparkle sticker and blew it up extra large to create the background. Then, we added two eyeball stickers on top—truly finding a balance between scary and endearing on this version of a JBL Charge 5. (Yes, we love eyeballs almost as much as we love ears.) With this design, this speaker can be your best (and weirdest) listening friend all year long.
Bring the fire
This speaker is sure to send a chill down your spine—or at least through your wrist. We built a scene right out of the underworld called The Ninth Circle on a JBL Clip 4. We started with a sinister black-and-orange gradient base design, layered our flame stickers at the bottom to pump up the otherworldly aura, then placed “Boo!” in a creepy font. The final touch? Just a severed hand sticker lowering gently into the fire, no big deal.
A Hauntingly Good Listen
But if you’re more hardcore and still want to grab a Charge 5 for your party, you could try something like Big Ig, our speaker version of Frankenstein’s assistant with his famously plus-sized peepers. He can be made by placing the eyeball, hand, and crescent-moon stickers over an ominous orange-and-purple gradient.
Ready to mash up a monster speaker of your own? Don’t be afraid. Go ahead and try JBLxME. We can’t wait to see what you make.
